2.5.5 UV lamp, membrane and filter cartridge installation
- To avoid potential damages during transport, the UV lamp is usually packaged separately; insert the supplied lamp in the unit.
- To install the lamp, see section 3.1: "UV lamp replacement".
- To install the membrane, see paragraph 3.2: "Membrane replacement".
- To install the filter cartridge, see paragraph 3.3: "Filter cartridge replacement".
WARNING: using cartridges other than original ones voids the warranty.
2.6 Start up
- Open the manual flush valve for 5 minutes. Then close the flush valve. Wait until the tank is full, then open the faucet and wait until it is empty.
- Absolutely prevent the membrane from drying by incautiously opening the unit. Install the membrane right after opening the package.
- For UV, PUMP and PUMP UV models, never disconnect the power mains, always keeping the unit on. (unless there's no water supply- risk of dry-run)
- Before the start-up of the systam please read also the "Routine Maintenance" chapter.
WARNING
Make sure that there are no water leaks from the product, and especially control the tightening between the housing head and the housing bowl. Continue checking that
the tightening is good and there is no water leakage for 48 hours following the Installation and start-up. In case of leakage, open the housing, remove the o-ring from the
bowl, place a new o-ring and apply original lubricant lubrikit+, then re-tighten the bowl to head and repeat the leakage check as above. Use only original Atlas Filtri o-rings
otherwise the warranty is void. Ask your vendor for original o-rings, Lubrikit+ and other spare parts.
Remark: manual flushing of the membrane must be performed for 5 minutes at least once a month.

3. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Before performing any routine maintenance turn-off water supply tap and, make sure the power cord is unplugged (in UV or PUMP UV models).
Routine maintenance only refers to consumable part replacement.
We recommend routine maintenance be performed at least once every 3 months.

(*) Special water conditions may require more frequent maintenance.
The PUMP, UV and PUMP-UV model electrical devices are powered with 220/230 V - 50 Hz electrical current. Before performing any maintenance, make sure the power
cord is unplugged.
To clean the device, do not use corrosive or acidic products or steel wool or steel brushes. Do not clean the device with direct jets of water or at high pressure.
3.1 UV lamp replacement
