Available Surround Modes (4)
THEATER Surround
This mode provides a three dimensional
effect similar to that of movie theater.
With this mode, you can enjoy a surround
effect similer to Dolby Surround sound even
when playing a video program which is not
encoded with the Dolby Surround system.
HALL Surround
When playing recordings of live music, this
mode provides a feeling similar to actually
being in a concert hall.
When this mode is selected, the normal
program source is directed to the main
speakers and a reverberated sound is
directed to the surround speakers.
This mode is suited to program sources which
contain a large amount of reverberation.
STADIUM Surround
The reverberation of this mode produces a
sound field which recreates the sound of a
stadium.
DISCO Surround
Gives a greatly expanded feel to powerful
music such as dance or rock.
STEREO
To switch the surround mode to stereo
mode, press the STEREO button.
When DTS or DOLBY DIGITAL is selected,
the surround sound is down mixed to 2
channel.

Surround THEATER
Ce mode offre un effet à trois dimensions
similaire à celui d'une salle de cinéma.
Avec ce mode, vous pouvez profiter d'un effet
Surround similaire au son Surround Dolby
même en lisant un programme vidéo qui n'est
pas codé avec le système Surround Dolby.
Surround HALL
En lisant des enregistrements de musique
vivante, ce mode offre une sensation similaire
à celle d'être vraiment dans une salle de
concert.
Lorsque ce mode est sélectionné, la source
du programme normal est dirigée sur les
haut-parleurs principaux et un son de
réverbération est dirigé sur les haut-parleurs
surround. Ce mode est adapté pour des
sources de programme qui contiennent
beaucoup de réverbération.
Surround STADIUM
La réverbération de ce mode produit un
champ sonore qui recrée l'ambiance d'un
stade.
Surround DISCO
Donne une sensation très étendue à la
musique forte tel le rock ou la danse.
STEREO
Appuyez sur la touche STEREO pour
commuter entre le mode surround et le
mode stéréo.
Pour le mode Dolby Digital, cette touche
fonctionne comme mixage 2 canaux.
