Kurzschlußschutz durch Leistungsschalter
Sind HH-Sicherungen nicht anwendbar, weil sie z. B. durch den
Anlaufstrom von Motoren auslösen, muß als Kurzschluß-schutz
ein Leistungsschalter verwendet werden. Max. zul. Kurzschluß-
wechselstrom siehe Technische Daten, Seite 5.
Als Folge der längeren Ausschaltzeit sollten im Kurzschlußfall
beim Auftreten des maximal zulässigen Kurzschlußwechsel-
stromes umgehend die Schaltröhren ausgewechselt werden,
da ihre Lebensdauer stark beeinträchtigt wurde.
Kurzschlußschutz für "Class E2-Controller"
entsprechend CSA C22.2
Für den Einsatz des Vakuumschützes 3TL61 als "Class E2-
Controller" sind als Kurzschlußschutz SlEMENS-Sicherungen
vom Typ 3GD1 150-UD (7,2 kV/250 A) oder andere Sicherun-
gen mit einer vergleichbaren Strom-/Zeit-Kennlinie vorgeschrie-
ben.
Es sind zwei Sicherungen parallel in jeder Strombahn anzuord-
nen. Der maximale unbeeinflußte Kurzschlußstrom I
35 kA.
Lagerung
Vakuumschütze müssen in der Verpackung trocken gelagert
werden.

Short-circuit protection by circuit-breakers
A circuit-breaker must be used to provide short-circuit protection
if HRC fuses are unsuitable because they are blown by the
motor starting current. The maximum permissible symmetrical
short-circuit current is given in the Technical data, Page 5.
Because of the extended opening time in the event of a short-
circuit, the interrupters should be immediately replaced by new
ones after a maximum permissible symmetrical short-circuit
current has occurred, as their service life has been considerably
reduced by this.
Short-circuit protection for Class E2 controller according
to CSA C22.2
For using the 3TL61 vacuum contactor as Class E2 controller,
SIEMENS fuses of type 3GD1 150-UD (7.2 kV/250 A) or other
fuses with a comparable current/time characteristic are specified
for short-circuit protection.
