3.9 Changing gobos

Warning: Disconnect fixture from mains, and allow
Unscrew the 8 screws holding the top cover of the Varyscanandremove
it. Thegoboscanbe removedbyloosening thethreescrews.(See
attached drawing)
Forthedesign of custom madegobos,pleasehavea lookatthe
encloseddrawing.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the fixture
Warning: Disconnect fixture from mains, and allow
Regularcleaning ofthefixtureismostimportantto keepagoodperfomanceoveralong
periodoftime.Especiallyremoving dust andgrease from theinsideaswellascleaningthe
fans ensuresreliableperfomanceof the Varyscan.
Open the cover by loosening the screws. Useabrushandavacuumcleanertoremove
dust from the inside. Make sure nottobendordamagethemechanicalandelectorical
parts inside of thefixture.
Incompetendperformaceofthe maintenance will invalidate thewarrany claims. Consult
qualified servicepersonnel.
4.2 Cleaning the optics
Warning: Disconnect fixture from mains, and allow
Foramaximumlightoutputtheopticalsystemhasto becleaned from time totime.
Loosen the screws holding the top cover andremove it.
Removelampbeforecleaningthe optical partsofthefixture.
Useasoftclothandgentlywhipereflector,lenses and colour filters. Youalso may
use a pairoftweezers andaregularglasscleaner.
