2. Installation

2.1 Installing a plugon thepower cord
Warning:To ensure propper installationof the plug consult a qualified
technician!
Install a 3-pronggoundingtypeplug that fitsyoursupply.
Connected load: voltage 230V, frequency50Hz,Power340VA

2.2 Installing or changing the lamp
Warning: Disconnect fixture from mains, and allow hotlampto cool down
foratleast30minutes!

Removeboth screws
no.1 (seedrawing)
Removelampholdergentlyfromthecase
bypullingitbackwards.
If changing thelamp,remove old lamp from
lamp socket. Hold thenewlamponlybyits
ceramicbase.Nevertouch theglassbulb.
Insertthenewlampinthe lamp socket.
Re-insertthelampholderandtighten the
scews.Makesurethecablesdonotget
damagedduringthe process.
2.3 Rigging thefixture
Warning: Keep fixturesatleast1mawayfrominflamablearticles!
Always use a safety cableattachedtothefixture!
Bestperformace of Varyscans is reached byrigging theunitsashighaspossible.
Theangle between trussing system andVaryscanhastobe the same with everyunit.
Toensure propperperformance ofthermalfuseitisbetternottoinstallthefixtures
upsidedown.Attacha safety cabletoeveryfixture.
