PRIOR TO FIRST USE

• Remove all packaging from the appli-
ance and the accessories.
• Before using for the first time, or after
prolonged storage without use, wash
any parts that will come into contact
with food.
• To remove any excess metal from the
production process, we recommend
you fit the auger (20), blade (21) and
meat screen (22, 23, or 24) in the
meat grinder body (19) and allow the
appliance to run for approximately 2
minutes with each meat screen with-
out food. Then clean the accessories
before use.
ASSEMBLY
1. Place the motor unit (3) on a flat
surface, e.g. a kitchen counter, and
make sure it is standing firmly.
2. Press the lock button (5), and tilt the
arm up.
3. Fit the mixing bowl (7) in the recess
on the motor unit base. Turn the bowl
slightly to lock it into position. Place
the required food in the mixing bowl.
4. Insert the splash guard (8) into the
flange around the shaft, and turn it
until it clicks into place.
5. Then fit the desired accessory onto
the shaft (6) on the underside of the
arm.
• The dough hook (9) is used for heavy
dough, minced meat or other de-
manding kneading jobs.
• The whisks (10, 11) are used for
whisking cream, egg whites, etc.

6. Turn the accessory, so the pin on the
shaft is aligned with the groove on
the accessory's top edge. Press the
accessory up against the arm, turn it
clockwise as far as it will go, until the
pin slides into position, thus securely
locking the accessory into place.
The accessory must not be loose nor
should you be able to pull it free.
7. Press the lock button, and lower the
arm so that it locks into place with a
click.
8. The appliance is now ready for use.
WHISKING, KNEADING AND
MIXING
1. Switch on the appliance by turning
the speed selector (4) to the required
position.
• Low speed is intended for use with
the dough hook (9).
• Medium speed is intended for use
with the whisk (10).
• High speed is intended for use with
the balloon whisk (11).
2. If you need to scrape inside the mix-
ing bowl, wait until the accessory has
stopped completely. Use a spatula,
never your fingers.
