» When cutting thick grass, reduce your walking speed in order to allow for a more
effective cut and a proper discharge of the grass clippings.
» Avoid letting the grass get too tall (Fig. 8). It is harder to push the lawn mower in tall
grass. It is recommended to mow your lawn on a weekly basis.
8
» Do not mow tall weeds (Fig. 9). If you have a weed infestation, clear all the weeds
first or contact your local lawn service.
9
» Set the product to the maximum cutting height when mowing on uneven ground or
in tall growth.
» Mow based on the height of the grass. Do not mow down more than a third of the
total height of your grass each mowing. The average lawn should be approximately
1-1/2 to 2" (38 - 50 mm) long during cool months, and between 2 to 3-1/4"
(50 - 83 mm) long during hot months.
» It is recommended to mow in the middle of the morning or in the late afternoon
after a dry day. This reduces clumping, lawn damage, and heat stress on the grass.
