1.2 Affixing the lifting harness

To facilitate mounting, suspend the cow brush using lifting tackle (see
Figure 3). Note that the cow brush weighs approx. 129 kg.

1.3 Affixing the cow brush

Fasten the frame of the cow brush using four (4) heavy-duty M12 screws
in the case of a concrete wall or four (4) M12 threaded rods/bolts for a
wall or post of adequate load-carrying capacity. The bolted connection
must be secured against loosening of its own accord. Use locking nuts or a
locking medium such as, for example, Loctite.
If the machine is installed outside, it must be protected against rain
or snow. During installation, electrical components must be protected
against damage through browsing by the animals.

1.4 Checking the animal stock

Before operation is commenced, it is essential to check that the hair-coats
of the stock are not longer than 5cm, particularly the tail-hair and to trim
them, if necessary.

Risk of serious injury!

1.5 Removing the transport protection

After the cow brush has been mounted, the transport protection must
be removed (see Figure 4). Do NOT reach in behind the brush. Warning
