The disinfectants used in the operating theatre as well as the ozone freed
when UV radiation sources are used, may change the surfaces of device
parts.
Check for
' Any soiling/contamination jeopadizing safety and general cleanliness
' Mechanical damage
' Loose or missing parts
' Mechanical function and easy operation
' Any damage having an effect on function and safety
' Function of control panels and LEDs
' Perfect condition, correct seating and easy operation
' Undamaged membranes of pressure sensors
' Undamaged cover of pressure chamber switch
' Completeness and good legibility
' Completeness and good legibility
' Values indicated by the manufacturer on the identification plate
(nominal current and melting characteristics)
' Perfect condition (position, insulation and possible brittleness)
' Corrosion or other damage
' Existence and good legibility
' Replace damaged parts immediately!
