CAUTION
•
No single PPE or PPE combination can provide complete protection against injury.
•
The airbag is designed to provide impact protection for the areas covered by the
impact protector(s). It does not offer minimum abrasion protection.
•
The protection of the airbag is only guaranteed in the inflated state.
d) Detection of accidents and falls
This airbag uses a mechanical triggering system. It detects falls and accidents even
when the motorcycle is at a standstill (from 0km/h).
Falls and accidents are detected when the rider is ejected from the motorcycle.
The tensile force exerted on the motorcycle lanyard expels the key-ball that was
holding the mechanical trigger system under tension. So, the piston expands and
propels the piston which perforates the cartridge with its needle. The gas is then
released and inflates the airbag instantly.
CAUTION
In the event of falls or accidents, if the rider is not ejected from the motorcycle
(slide, low-amplitude fall, etc.), the airbag may not be triggered.
3. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
