General safety instructions

which must be taken into account each time the appliance is used
- Do not operate the grill in closed and/ or habitable spaces, e.g. buildings,
tents,
- caravans, motorhomes or boats. This poses a risk to life due to carbon
monoxide poisoning.
- CAUTION! Do not use spirits or gasoline to ignite or reignite the flames!
- Flammable liquids, when poured into the embers, may cause bursts of
flames or explosions.
- Use only firelighters complying with EN 1860-3!
- CAUTION! This grilling appliance becomes very hot and must not be
moved during operation!
- CAUTION! Keep children and pets at a distance!
- Do not use in enclosed spaces!
It is recommended that you avoid using liquid BBQ lighters. These can affect
the taste of your food, penetrate into the ceramic composite and thereby
invalidate the warranty. Please use only solid fire starters complying with EN
1860-3, such as wood wool or a separate chimney starter.
Only place the BBQ meat on the grate when the charcoal is covered with a
bright layer of ash.
