2.5 - OPERATING MODE: OPTICAL DIGITAL WIRED
The „Analog" mode provides for feeding an analog music signal from a streamer, DAC preamplifier with analog RCA outputs.
The analog music signal must be volume controlled, otherwise the playback will be at full volume. Check whether the analog outputs of your source device are volume controlled before you
put the power amplifiers into operation.

COMMISSIONING BURN IN
1. Select under „Input" [C] the position „Analog" at both power amplifiers, set the „Position" [D]
with left „left" or right „right".

2. Connect your analog source device to the „Analog R" for right or „Analog L" for left [M] on the
power amplifiers with an analog RCA cable.
3. If you have assigned the „position" „right" [D] for right to the speaker, use the analog input „R"
for right.
4. If you have assigned the „position" „left" [D] for left to the speaker, use the analog input „L" for
left.
5. Start playing music on your source device. When a signal is present the power amplifiers
switch on. The status LED [G] lights up green.
6. Auto-Standby: If your source device does not send a music signal, the power amplifiers switch
off after five minutes. The status LED [G] lights up dimmed blue.
7. As soon as a music signal is sent again, the power amplifiers switch on again.
8. Depending on the strength of the output signal of your analog preamplifier, it may be
necessary to attenuate it. With the slide switch „Level" [H] you can reduce the volume by 3 or
6 dB. If distortion occurs during music playback in this mode, the input signal is too loud. The
max. volume (0 dB) is reached at a signal strength of 2 V rms. If the max. output signal of
your preamplifier is higher, a reduction of the gain is necessary to avoid digital clipping which
leads to distortions. For this, compare the technical specifications of your preamplifier.
