Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Use the device only indoors.
 This device may be used by children 8 years of age or
older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental
knowledge, if they have been supervised or instructed in
the safe use of the device and understand the hazards
arising therefrom.
 Children are not allowed to play with the device.
 Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.

 Remove the batteries from the battery compartments if
they are empty or if you are not using the device for an
extended period.
 When changing batteries ensure correct polarity (+/-).

 Do not expose the article to direct sunlight, humidity,
dust, extreme heat, hot light sources or strong magnetic
fields.
 Avoid strong mechanical stresses and do not press on
the LC display. Do not expose the unit to strong vibra-
tions.
 Remove the batteries from the battery compartment if
you do not intend to use it for a longer period of time.
