Keep the noise emissions and vibrations to a
minimum.
Only use appliances which are in perfect wor-
king order.
Service and clean the appliance regularly.
Adapt your working style to suit the appliance.
Do not overload the appliance.
Have the appliance serviced whenever ne-
cessary.
Switch the appliance off when it is not in use.
Wear protective gloves.
Wear ear-muffs.
Caution!
Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain resi-
dual risks cannot be rules out. The following
hazards may arise in connection with the
equipment's construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protec-
tion is used.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vib-
rations if the equipment is used over a pro-
longed period or is not properly guided and
maintained.
4. Risk of eye damage if suitable safety goggles
are not worn.

5. Before starting the equipment

Important!
The machine is supplied without batteries and
without a charger!
Warning!
Always remove the battery pack before making
adjustments to the equipment.
5.1 Assembling blow tube 1 – motor unit
(Fig. 3a/3b)
Plug blow tube 1 (Item 2) onto the motor unit
(Item 1). The groove (A) must be pushed into the
guide (B) when you do this. Turn the blow tube
to the right to secure it in its fi nal position on the
motor unit.
Important! The tube must be turned as far as
it will go to make sure it is fi rmly secured in
position.

The machine can now be used as a workshop
blower (Fig. 3c).
5.2 Assembling blow tube 2 – blow tube 1
(Fig. 4a/b)
Plug blow tube 2 (Item 3) onto blow tube 1 (Item
2). Secure the two blow tubes together (see
Section 5.1). The scratch edge (Fig. 1/Item 3a)
for freeing leaves from the ground must point
downwards.
The machine can now be used as a leaf blower
(Fig. 1).
5.3 Assembling blow attachment 3 – motor
unit (Fig. 5a – 5c)
Plug the blow attachment (Item 8) onto the motor
unit (Item 1). Secure the two parts together (see
Section 5.1).
The machine can now be used as a workshop
blower or as an ignition aid for charcoal
barbecues (Fig. 5c).
Note: To dismantle the above mentioned
attachments, proceed in reverse order.
5.4 Fitting the battery (Fig. 6a/6b)
Press the pushlock button (Item C) of the battery
pack as shown in Fig. 6a and push the battery
pack into the mount provided. When the battery
pack is positioned as in Fig. 6b, make sure that
the pushlock button latches in place! To remove
the battery, proceed in reverse order!
5.5 Charging the battery (Fig. 7)
1. Take the battery pack (9) out of the equip-
ment. Do this by pressing the pushlock but-
ton.
2. Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that marked on the rating plate of the battery
charger. Insert the power plug of the charger
into the socket outlet. The green LED will then
begin to blink.
3. Insert the battery pack (9) into the charger
(10).
4. In section „Charger indicator" you will fi nd a
table with an explanation of the LED indicator
on the charger.
The battery pack can become a little warm during
the charging. This is normal.
If the battery pack fails to charge, check:
whether there is voltage at the socket outlet
whether there is good contact at the charging
contacts
