BATTERY AND FUSE REPLACEMENT

The battery has a thermal fuse with a resting fuse that will automatically trip and cut off all power to
the vehicle if the engine, electrical system or battery is overcharged. The fuse will reset and power will
be restored after the unit is turned off for 20 seconds and then turned back on. If the thermal fuse is
triggered repeatedly during normal use, the vehicle may need to be repaired. Contact your dealer.
To avoid losing power, follow these guidelines:
×
Do not overload the vehicle.
×
Do not tow anything behind the vehicle.
×
Do not drive on steep slopes.
×
Do not drive towards fixed objects, as this can cause the wheels to rotate and the engine to overheat.
×
Do not drive in very hot weather, components may overheat.
×
Do not allow water or other liquids to come into contact with the battery or other electrical components.
×
Do not alter the electrical system. Doing so may cause a short circuit, causing the fuse to trip.
Follow these steps to replace and dispose of the battery:
1.
Remove the car seat.
2.
Disconnect the battery connectors.
3.
Remove the battery holder.
4.
Remove the battery cover.
5.
Lift the battery carefully.
6.
Place the dead battery in a plastic bag.
7.
Replace the battery and reconnect the connectors.
8.
Replace the metal battery holder.
9.
Replace the seat.
ATTENTION Recycle the discharged battery responsibly. The battery contains lead
acid (electrolyte) and must be disposed of properly and legally. Do not dispose of the
battery with normal household waste.

MAINTENANCE

×
Occasionally use oil to lubricate moving parts such as wheels.
×
Do not wash the vehicle with a hose. The water will damage the engine, the electrical system and
the battery.
×
Clean the vehicle with a soft, dry cloth. To restore shine to plastic parts, use a wax-free furniture
polish. Do not use car wax. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

STORAGE

×
When not in use, all electrical sources must be turned off. Turn off the power switch and disconnect
the battery connection.
×
Store the vehicle inside or cover it with a tarpaulin to protect it from moisture.
×
Keep the vehicle away from heat sources such as stoves and heaters. Plastic parts can melt.
