4. Initial setup

The battery is partly charged at the time of dis-
patch.
1. Charge the battery i before using for the first
time.
2. Set On/Off switch j to Off.
3. Insert battery i with its terminals pointing
downward.
4. Place the spray caddy in a horizontal position
and remove screw cap a. Fill the spray caddy
with 5 l of water (see section 5.2).
5. Close the filler opening with screw cap a, and
place the spray caddy in a vertical position.
6. Open the ventilation cap and remove the nozzle
of spray lance e. Switch the pump on and hold
the spray lance into a container with a capacity
of at least 5 l. Flush the production residues
from the system by operating the spray lance's
trigger until no more water emerges.
7. Close the ventilation cap and fit the nozzle of
spray lance e.
8. The spray caddy is now ready to use.
