Operating the device is only permitted with a 230 V/50
Hz alternating current network. Work on the 230 V
network is only permitted by qualified electricians (in
accordance with VDE 0100).
Always observe the applicable accident prevention
regulations.
Disconnect the power to devices before working on
them to prevent electrocution (switch circuit breaker).
Ignoring installation instructions can cause fires or
other hazards. This device is to be operated indoors
only and keep away from the influences of humidity,
dust and sunshine or other radiating heat sources. It is
vital to bear the connected load in mind! The dimmer
is only suitable for incandescent lamps, HV halogen
lamps, LV halogen lamps with electronic transformers
and dimmable energy-saving lamps.
The devices are not intended to be isolated. The load
is not electrically isolated from the mains.
If the dimmer is to be operated with electronic
transformers, only those which meet the requirements of
DIN EN 61347-1 (VDE 0712-30, Part 1) along with DIN
EN 61047 /VDE 0712-25, Part 2) may be used.
