Initial Operation
1. Assemble the blades as shown on page 3. (Fig. 1)
2. Insert the ends of the blades into the receptacle at the
motor device.
3. Press the blades in the direction of the motor device until
the ends are felt to lock in place. Check that they are
firmly attached.
Electrical Connection
Insert the plug in a duly installed socket.
WARNING:
• Remove the mains plug from the socket.
• The cutting blades are extremely sharp! A risk of injury exists!
• Under no circumstances should you place the appliance in wa-
ter for cleaning. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock
or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Housing
Wipe off the housing with a damp cloth and dry with a dry
cloth.
Blades
1. Use a little dishwashing liquid and clean these compo-
nents in warm rinsing water.
2. Rinse off with clear water and dry the parts off.
Storage
• Clean the appliance as described. Let the accessories
dry completely.
• We recommend that you keep the appliance in the
original packaging, if you do not want to use it for a
longer period.
• Always store the appliance out of reach of children in a
well ventilated, dry place.

Switching On
Press on the safety switch (3) and the power switch (4)
simultaneously.
NOTE:
For security reasons, the appliance will only switch on
once both switches are pressed simultaneously.
End of Operation
1. Disconnect the power plug from the socket.
2. Press the release button to remove the blades.
