Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um eine Bandage zur zirkulär
komprimierenden Thoraxumfassung mit Verschluss, um den Thoraxbereich
(Brustkorb) zu stabilisieren.
Indikationen
Rippenfraktur, Traumafolgen im Rippenbereich, (z. B. Prellung, Zerrung)
Kontraindikationen
Unklare Weichteilschwellungen, Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen
der versorgten Körperregion, Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten
Körperabschnitt
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt. Sprechen Sie
Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der
geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von
dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– Wurde das Tragen bei Nacht angeordnet, Beeinträchtigungen des
Blutkreislaufs vermeiden
– bei Taubheitsgefühl Medizinprodukt lockern oder ggf. abnehmen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung anderer Produkte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt
– keine Änderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf offenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der verwendeten
Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung von nur einem
Patienten bestimmt
– während der Tragedauer der Bandage: keine lokale Anwendung von Cremes
oder Salben im Bereich des angelegten Hilfsmittels – kann Material zerstören
Anziehanleitung
Den Rippengürtel im Thoraxbereich um den Leib legen, die beiden
Verschlussplatten fassen und die Bandage gleichmäßig nach vorne
ziehen. Linke Verschlusshälfte an den Leib pressen und die rechte
Verschlusshälfte soweit ziehen, bis ein Aufkletten möglich ist.
Ablegen
Zum Ablegen des Rippengürtel, die beiden Verschlusshälften öffnen und
Rippengürtel ablegen.

Intended purpose
This medical device is a support for circumferential enclosure of the thorax
with fasteners in order to stabilise the thorax region (chest)
Indications
Rib fracture, trauma consequences in the rib area (i.e. contusion, sprain)
Contraindications
Unclear soft tissue swellings, sensory and circulatory disorders with the region
of the body treated, skin diseases in the part of the body treated.
Application risks/Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and duration
with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you have received
the medical device will select the appropriate size and instruct you regarding
its use.
– remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
– if wearing at night is prescribed, avoid negative influence on the circulatory
system
– in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your
physician
– do not make any changes to the product
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use. This medical aid is intended for treating one patient only
– whilst wearing the support, please neither use any creams nor ointments on
or around it as they can destroy the material.
Fitting instructions
Place the rib belt in the thorax region around the torso, grasp both latch plates
and pull the support forward evenly. Press the left latching half onto the torso
and pull the right latching half so far that you can attach it with Velcro.
Removal
To remove the rib belt, open both latching halves and then remove it.

Utilisation prévue
Ce dispositif médical est un bandage destiné à entourer le thorax avec une
compression circulaire. Il comprend des fermetures permettant de stabiliser la
région du thorax (cage thoracique).
Indications
Fracture costale, états post-traumatiques dans la région costale (p. ex.
contusion, distorsion)
Contre-indications
Tuméfaction des tissus mous d'origine inconnue, troubles de sensation et de
la circulation sanguine des régions corporelles traitées, maladies cutanées sur
les zones traitées.
Risques inhérents à l'utilisation/Remarques importantes
Ce dispositif médical est un produit prescrit sur ordonnance. Consultez votre
médecin prescripteur pour en connaître l'utilisation et la durée de port. Le
choix de la taille ainsi qu'une présentation du produit seront réalisés par le
personnel spécialisé qui vous fournira ce dispositif médical.

Useful life/Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and tear if
treated appropriately and as recommended.

Medical device | Single patient – multiple use
– ne pas réutiliser. Ce dispositif est conçu pour le soin d'un seul patient
– pendant le port du bandage : ne pas utiliser de crème ou de pommade
dans la zone d'utilisation du produit, risque de dommage du matériau
Instruction d'application
Poser la ceinture autour du corps dans la région du thorax, saisir les deux
plaques de fermeture et tirer le bandage vers l'avant de façon équilibrée.
Presser la moitié gauche de la fermeture contre le ventre et tirer la moitié
droite de la fermeture jusqu'à ce qu'il soit possible d'attacher.
Retirer
Pour retirer la ceinture, ouvrir les deux moitiés de fermeture et enlever la
ceinture.
