PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
Before first use, clean all parts and accessories (see "Care and Cleaning" section).
ASSEMBLING THE FOOD GRINDER ATTACHMENT
1.
Insert the Grind Screw into the Main Housing securely.
Place the Blade over the end of the Grind Screw.
2.
Place the desired Grinding Plate over the Blade, matching the notch of the plate with the
tab on the bottom of the Main Housing.
Place the Collar on the Main Housing, rotate clockwise until secured but not tightened.
ASSEMBLING THE FRUIT/VEGETABLE STRAINER ATTACHMENT
1.
Secure the smaller spring end of the Shaft Assembly into the Long Grind Screw.
Insert the Long Grind Screw into the Main Housing.
2.
Place the Strainer Cone over the Long Grind Screw matching the notch of the Strainer
Cone with the tab on the bottom of the Main Housing.
3.
Insert the Collar over the Strainer Cone and rotate clockwise until secure.
Slide the Strainer Shield over the cone and latch on the top of Collar.
4.
Place Splash Lid on the Strainer Shield.
ASSEMBLING THE SLICER/SHREDDER ATTACHMENT
1.
Turn the Stand Mixer OFF(0) and unplug.
2.
Slide the Blade you want to use into the Housing. You will hear a click when the Blade
snaps into place properly on the drive shaft.
3.
For Stand Mixers with a hinged attachment hub cover: Flip up to open.
4.
For Stand Mixers with a removable attachment hub cover: Turn the Attachment Knob
counterclockwise to remove attachment hub cover.
5.
Insert the attachment Shaft Housing into the attachment hub, making certain the power
shaft fits into the square hub socket. If necessary, rotate the attachment back and forth.
The pin on the Attachment Housing fits into the notch of the hub rim when in the proper
position.
6.
Tighten the Stand Mixer attachment hub knob until the attachment is completely secured
to the Stand Mixer. Make sure that the hub knob is properly seated in the retention hole in
the attachment.
