4. Feed the cable into the cable entry port and fix it with
the strain relief system.
Note: Do not forget to slide the heat shrink tube over.
5. Mark the cable sheath due to the length of the heat
shrink tube.
6. Apply the aluminium flame protection tape to the cable
sheath with 10 mm overlap and wrap it around the cable.
7. Wind the self amalgamating tape under tension (pull
tape until it reaches 2/3 of its original width) in the area
between cable entry port and 15 mm overlapping the heat
protection foil.
Note: Sometimes it might be necessary to remove
the cable for tape wrapping. In this case mark
the end of the cable entry port before
removing.
8. This has to be carried out half overlapping layer by
layer until the required diameter is reached.
