Functions
The range of functions is dependent on the machine
concerned.
Counting (NC 520, 520 plus, 540, 560, 570)
This function simply establishes the quantity of bank
notes. When the bank notes counted are removed from
the output tray, counting resumes from

This basic function is activated on all the machines
when all the other functions are deactivated.
Currency (NC 560, 570)
This function enables bank notes of the same currency
but with different denominations to be counted in one
operation. In this case, the machine establishes the
total value of all the bank notes and the quantity of bank
notes according to each specific denomination.
Æ CUR
until the required currency (
appears in the display [16].
Æ MODE until VALUE appears in the display [17].
When the counting process has finished:
Æ REP/PRINT Ê The value of the bank notes [16] and
quantity [17] of the corresponding bank note according to
its value.
Æ REP/PRINT Ê The next bank note value appears.
4 seconds after the last button was pressed, the total value
reappears in the display [15].

Sorting (NC 560, 570)
With this function, the first bank note is used as a refe­
rence for those following. If the machine detects a bank
note which deviates from the reference note, the ma­

Adding (NC 520, 520 plus, 540, 560, 570)
If several bundles of bank notes are stacked in the in­
feed tray one after the other, counting continues even if
the bank notes counted are removed from the output
tray.

This function is helpful in the case of heavily used
bank notes. Such notes are often creased and are
difficult to bundle together. You can divide such bundles
into several smaller bundles and use the addition functi­

This function causes counting to stop when the preset
quantity of bank notes has been counted. If the counted
