The correct power tool will work better
and more safely when used with the load
for which it was designed.
Do not use the power tool if it cannot be
switched on and off with the power
switch. Power tools that cannot be
controlled with the power switch are
dangerous and must be repaired.
Unplug the plug from the mains and/or
remove the battery from the power tool
before making any adjustments, replacing
accessories or putting the tool away.
These safety precautions reduce the risk of
accidentally starting the power tool.
Store power tools out of the reach of
children when not in use. Never allow
anyone who is unfamiliar with the power
tool and these instructions to use the tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of
inexperienced users.
Keep the power tool properly maintained.
Check that moving parts are not
misaligned, jammed or loose, and that
there are no other factors that could affect
the safe use of the tool. If the power tool
is damaged, it must be repaired before
being used again. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Make sure that cutting tools are sharp and
clean. Properly maintained cutting tools
with sharp cutting edges are less likely to
jam and are easier to control.
Use the power tool, accessories and bits
etc., in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the actual working
conditions and the work that is to be
done. Using the power tool for anything
other than its intended purpose can lead
to dangerous situations.
SERVICE
Make sure that the power tool is serviced by
qualified technicians that only use identical
spare parts. This will ensure that the power tool
remains safe to use.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR TILE
CUTTERS
The tool must only be repaired by
qualified personnel. This tool conforms
with the requirements in the relevant
safety regulations. Repairs must only be
carried out by qualified personnel using
identical spare parts. Failure to carry out
repairs correctly can result in the risk of
personal injury/death or material
damage.
Pull out the plug before carrying out
maintenance on the tool and when the
tool is not in use.
Only use the tool together with an
approved residual current device.
Make sure the table is level. Do not
subject the table to scratching or pressure.
Keep your hands away from the blade
when it is rotating.
Make sure that the directional arrow on
the blade corresponds with the direction
of rotation of the motor.
Check at regular intervals that the spindle
screw is tight and that the blade fits firmly
on the spindle.
Always check before use that the blade is
not cracked or otherwise damaged.
Replace the blade immediately if it is
cracked or damaged.
Keep the power cord away from the
cutting area and make sure it cannot
fasten in the workpiece.
Always check that adjuster keys etc. have
been removed from the tool before
switching it on.
Never try to cut freehand. The tile must be
held firmly against the motor fence or
against the mitre fence. Do not cut
workpieces that are too small to be held
securely with your hands at a safe
distance from the blade.
Make sure there is room for the cut-off
from the workpiece to move sideways.
Otherwise the cut-off can fasten against
the blade.
Never cut more than one tile at once.
