1.3.3. Identifying the pedals
Start by identifying which is the left and right pedals, as they have
different thread patterns. The right pedal has a "R" and left pedal has a
"L" on the pedal axle. The right pedal is screwed clockwise and the left
pedal is screwed counter-clockwise.
Warning:
Inserting the pedals on the wrong side will result in damage to
the crank-arms.
Warning:
Pedals are components that if improperly installed, can become
a safety hazard. When screwing in the pedal axle, make sure to
tighten them firmly enough according to the instructions.
Pedals installation:
Step 1. First screw the pedal in loosely by hand.

1.3.4. Switching the electrical system on/off
When you receive your bike it will be in 'sleep
mode'. To wake your bike, simply connect it to the
charger for a minimum of 2 seconds. To turn the
system on/off, Press and hold "M" for 2 seconds
on the handle bar controller device. You can then
unplug the charger.
1.3.5. Adjusting the assistance level
To increase the assistance level, press the "Up"
button on the Controller until the desired
assistance level appears in the display.
To reduce the assistance level, press the "Down".
1.3.6. Switching the light on/off
• Turn on: Press "Up" button for a for 2 seconds
• Turn off: Press "Up" button for a for 2 seconds
1.3.7. Push Function
The 'Push Function' propels the bike to 6km/h
without peddling. It can be activated by holding
the "Down" button for a minimum of 2 seconds.
Note: The motor will only 'Push' while you are holding
the 'Down' button.
