7 Calibrating a measuring amplifier
1. Connect the USB power supply (use enclosed USB connection cable), PC
or external power supply to the K800.

2. Connect the K800 instead of the S.G. quarter bridge to the MGCplus with
the 1-KAB263-3 connection cable (one cable for the AP814Bi, two cables
for the AP815i).
3. At the MGCplus, make the required settings for the calibration in accor­
dance with the Operating Manual.
4. Set the chosen detuning range at the step switch.
Set the step switch to 0% (the yellow status LED 0% lights up) and check the
zero point of the amplifier. Any variations from zero can be adjusted at the
MGCplus.
