RM5D
Digital Audio Mixer
The Rackmaster 5D combines a fully
equipped digital audio mixer with echo/
reverb, bluetooth receiver, mp3 player,
startsignal generator, noise gate, talkover,
feedback eliminator and a high quality
DSP audio management.
Instead of a confusing number of switches,
potentiometers and knobs, the RM5D
comes with only three rotary encoders for
music, microfone and effect, with the EFF
VOL encoder having a double function as
Navigator through the menu.
Most functions of the RM5D are selected
vwrs uII
by the 5 key switches
the front side commander and the menu in
the 2" display. Parameters and values are
set by the rotary Navigator / EFF VOL.
User Mode / Admin Mode
The RM5D may be operated in two diffe-
rent modes:
User Mode (described in this manual)
This is composed for the user who needs
an easy to operate audio mixer. Stored
under User 1...4, he will find the most
useful settings.
Should the user ever get lost in his own
personal settings, he can easily restore the
original factory presets by reloading
User 1...4.
Restore User Presets:
uII
Button
- SYS - Load User -
select 1..4 - by EFF VOL (NAV). Confirm by
uII

®
Admin Mode (Access Code required)
Admin mode requires a deeper audio engi-
neering knowledge. That is why the RM5D
is normally supplied in user mode only.
Admin mode enables the audio engineer
to prepare specific RM5D setups, so it will
work as a multi zone mixer in a leisure
park, as the main mixer in a funfair ride
with start signal, automute, noisegate and
echo/reverb effect or as a simple to opera-
te audio mixer in a children's carousel.
Every task is different - and with its
unique features the RM5D will master
nearly all of them.
