1. General features

Pneumatically operated valves are being used
increasingly not only as OPEN/CLOSED valves, but
are being controlled by external analog command
variables.
With the DSR 100, 101, 102 positioners, DIASTAR
pneumatic actuators and rotary actuators type
PA 30–PA 70 for 0°–90°  ) can be used as
positioners.
The positioners can be mounted on order in the plant
or retrofitted later in the field.
