5.1 Press and hold LIGHT/O for 3 seconds to switch the LCD display on and off. When switched on, the data before the
last switch-off is displayed and the temperature is restarted.
5.2 Press C/F to turn on degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, press LIGHT/O to turn on the backlight.
Useful hints
If the displayed temperature seems too high or the temperature rises too quickly, check that the probe tip does not
pierce completely through the food. Reposition the probe tip in the centre at the thickest part of the food. Avoid touching
bones or thick areas of fat when doing this.
If the receiver and transmitter display „LLL" or „HHH" instead of the probe temperature, wait until the probe reaches the
current temperature. If „LLL" or „HHH" is still displayed or you get an incorrect temperature reading, re-insert the probe
plug into the transmitter and rotate it slightly back and forth to make good contact.
Always switch off the two devices after use to prolong the battery life. If the units are not going to be used for a long
time, please remove the batteries.
Cleaning and care
Clean the units only with a dry or slightly damp cloth that does not shed lint. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents to
clean the unit. The probes can be rinsed under warm water, but they are not suitable for cleaning in dishwashers.
