Note:
• It is recommended to always measure at the same
time of day.
• Always measure on the same arm.
• Measure on an uncovered (bare) arm.
• Do not make the cuff too tight.
Warning:
• This is not a toy. Keep it away from children. Do not
allow children to play with it.
• This device may not be used if you have an injury
on the arm.
• If the blood pressure cuff becomes continuously
infl ated, it must be immediately opened.
Applying the blood pressure cuff
1. Open the velcro fastener.
2. Put your hand through the cuff .
3. The cuff should be positioned
approximately 1 cm above the
wrist.
Measurement
Press the START/STOP button.
a. The unit carries out a brief self
test.
b. The cuff is defl ated when the
numeral "0" fl ashes.
c. The cuff is automatically infl ated,
if the numeral "0" is displayed
continuously.
d. The readings appear on the
display after a few seconds.
e. The pulse rate is measured.
f. The cuff is infl ated further until
the required pressure has been
achieved.
g. The readings for systolic pressure,
diastolic pressure, and pulse are
displayed after the measurement.
h. The result of the measurement is
indicated on the measurement
bar (7) according to the classifi -
cation of the WHO (World Health
Organisation).
