• The stool must be fully unfolded in the
correct position.
• Catches, if available, must be fully locked
before use.
• The stool must be placed on a smooth,
level and stable footing.
• When positioning the stool, take into
consideration the risk of collision with
pedestrians, vehicles or doors. Lock doors
(not emergency exits) and windows in the
work area, where possible.
• The stool must be placed on its feet,
not upside down.
• The stool must not be placed on slippery
surfaces (for example, ice, glossy or
heavily soiled surfaces) unless additional
measures are taken to prevent it from
slipping.
• Do not exceed the maximum load for the
