Variant with cable glands:
Observe the correct torques. Close off all ca-
ble glands that are not in use. To do so, use
the accessories from the enclosed seal set
SL SET PV next (multiple sealing inserts, reduc-
ing sealing inserts, blind pins).
► Remove the caps and rubber seals on the M25 cable
glands for IN + and OUT + as well as IN – and OUT –,
see Figure 3.2 on page 28 , position 9.
► Insert a new multi-seal insert (3 x 7 mm) into each cable
gland and mount the two caps.
► If not all openings of the multiple sealing inserts are re-
quired, close off all openings that are not needed using
the enclosed blind pins (diameter 7 x 28 mm).
► Feed the DC + and DC - output cable through the cable
glands into the enclosure.
► Strip the output cable 18 mm and connect it to the termi-
nal blocks -XD3 and -XD4 .
► Connect the output cable to the DC+ and DC- string in-
puts of the inverter. Refer to the inverter manufacturer's
documentation.
► Ensure that the string cables are free of voltage.
► Check the absence of voltage using a suitable voltage
tester.
► Insert the string cable.
► Strip the string cable 18 mm and connect it to the termi-
nal blocks -XD1 and -XD2 according to the polarity.
► Check that all cables are connected with the correct po-
larity.
► Tighten the union nuts of the cable glands (observe
torque).
► Mount the cover of the product (observe torque).
► Connect the string cables to the PV generators.
► Switch the switch-disconnector of the product to the on
position by connecting the 100-230 V AC supply.
► Switch on the inverter.
Variant with PV connector:
► If your product is equipped with PV connectors, protect
unused connectors with protective caps to avoid dust
and moisture penetration.
Protective caps: VSSO WM4 C, order number 1254870000
► Connect the DC+ / DC- output cables to the output con-
nectors -XD15 (OUT1+) and -XD18 (OUT-).
► Connect the output cables to the inverters. Refer to the
inverter manufacturer's documentation.
► Check that all cables are connected with the correct po-
larity.
► Connect the string cables to the input connectors -XD13
and -XD14 (IN1+) and -XD16 and -XD17 (IN1-).

► Switch the switch-disconnector of the product to the on
position.
► Switch on the inverter.
► Mount the cover of the product.
Take care not to cover the pressure equalisation
element of the product. This element reduces
the formation of condensation water inside the
enclosure.

6.3 LED display

The two LEDs on the PCB indicate the status of the AC
supply voltage and the status of the energy storage (see
Figure 3.4 on page 30).
