Installation

5.2 Mounting the product

During installation, make sure that no moisture,
dust or foreign objects can penetrate into the
product.
The product can be mounted by screwing the enclosure di-
rectly to the wall. Alternatively, the product can be mounted
with mounting brackets (MF FPC, order no. 9536040000).
ATTENTION
Material damage due to unsuitable screws!
If the diameter of the screw or screw head is too small or
too large, the screw may become wedged in the mount-
ing hole and damage the enclosure. For the same rea-
son, countersunk screws are unsuitable.
► For wall mounting, use screws with the properties de-
scribed below.
For wall mounting, use half-round head screws or cylinder
head screws in accordance with DIN 7049, DIN 7981 or
ISO 14585.

The length X (penetration depth into the wall) must be di-
mensioned in such a way that a secure hold in the wall is
guaranteed.

ATTENTION
The product can be destroyed!
The IP protection class described only applies if the en-
closure is not damaged.
► Do not drill any additional holes in the enclosure under
any circumstances.
► Do not change the existing openings under any cir-
cumstances.
► Lift the product out of its packaging.
► If you are using mounting brackets, mount them on the
mounting holes on the enclosure.
► Measure the exact distance between the mounting holes
on the enclosure or the holes on the mounting brackets
(see the measurements for direct mounting in section
5.3 on page 35).
► Mark the drilling positions on the wall.
► Drill the holes in the wall and insert suitable dowels as
required.
► If you are using mounting brackets, mount the box on
the wall now.
► If no mounting brackets are used, remove the enclosure
cover from the product.
► Screw the product onto the wall through the mounting
holes.
► Refit the cover.
