Product description
3.1 Product overview
Weidmüller PV Next Fireman switch boxes are standard-
ised Remote Disconnect (RD) Boxes that are used to safe-
ly and easily connect and automatically interrupt photovol-
taic string cables to the inverter in private or commercial
PV systems. The built-in and motorised DC switch-discon-
nector acts as a "Fireman switch".
The product family includes two variants for inverters with
one Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) and two vari-
ants for inverters with two MPPTs.

The connections to string cables and inverters are made
either with PV connectors on the underside of the enclo-
sure or via a direct connection within the enclosure.
The type designation of your product can be found on the
type plate inside the enclosure.
