Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um eine elastische
Handgelenkbandage zur Stützung des Handgelenks.
Indikationen
DE: Chronische, posttraumatische oder postoperative Reizzustände im
Bereich des Handgelenks, z. B. Distorsion, Handwurzelarthrose,
Karpaltunnelsyndrom (CTS), Rheuma, Tendovaginitis
AT: Schwäche nach Band- oder Sehnenverletzung, Sehnenscheidenreizungen
(Tendovaginitits), chronische Entzündungen im Handgelenk (PCP),
Ansatztendinopathien im Handgelenks- und Handwurzelbereich, sensibles
Carpaltunnelsyndrom
Kontraindikationen
Periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit (PAVK), Lymphabflussstörungen
auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern des angelegten Hilfsmittels,
Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der versorgten Körperregion,
Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt, Latexallergie.
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Dieses Medizinprodukt ist ein verordnungsfähiges Produkt. Sprechen Sie
Anwendung und Dauer mit Ihrem verordnenden Arzt ab. Die Auswahl der
geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das Fachpersonal, von
dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– bei längeren Ruhephasen nicht zu fest verschließen z. B. beim Schlafen
– bei Taubheitsgefühl Medizinprodukt lockern oder ggf. abnehmen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung anderer Produkte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt
– keine Änderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf offenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der verwendeten
Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung eines Patienten
bestimmt
– während der Tragedauer der Bandage: keine lokale Anwendung von
Cremes oder Salben im Bereich des angelegten Hilfsmittels – kann Material
zerstören
Anziehanleitung
Vor dem Anlegen Alu-Schiene in gewünschte Form biegen. Öffnen Sie die
Klettverschlüsse und legen Sie die Bandage an das betroffene Handgelenk
an. Die Alu-Schiene verläuft auf der Handinnenseite. Zum Schluss schließen
Sie zuerst den Klettverschluss zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger, dann die
nachfolgenden.
Ablegen
Zum Ablegen der Bandage öffnen Sie bitte die Klettverschlüsse. Fassen Sie
die Schiene an der Handfläche und ziehen Sie die Bandage über die Finger
ab. Schließen Sie die Klettverschlüsse, um einen frühzeitigen Verschleiß der
Klettfläche zu vermeiden.

Intended purpose
This medical device is an elastic wrist support for supporting the wrist.
Indications
Chronic, post-traumatic or post-operative irritations in the wrist area, e.g.
distortion, carpal arthrosis, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), rheumatism,
tenosynovitis.
Contraindications
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymph drainage disorders,
also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the aid positioned, sensory and
circulatory disorders with the region of the body treated, skin diseases in the
part of the body treated, latex allergy.
Application risks/Important notes
This medical device is a prescribable product. Discuss the use and duration
with your treating physician. The expert staff from whom you have received the
medical device will select the appropriate size and instruct you regarding its use.
– remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
– do not close it too tightly during longer periods of rest, e.g. when sleeping
– in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your physician
– do not make any changes to the product
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst wearing the support, please neither use any creams nor ointments on
or around it as they can destroy the material
Fitting instructions
Before putting on, bend the aluminium splint to the desired shape. Open the
Velcro fasteners and place the support on the wrist affected. The aluminium
splint runs along the surface of the palm. Finally close the Velcro fastener
between the thumb and index finger first, then the following Velcro fasteners.
Removal
To remove the support, please open the Velcro fasteners. Grasp the splint
in the palm area and pull the support off over the fingers. Close the Velcro
fasteners in order to avoid early wear to the Velcro surface.

Reinigungshinweise
Schonwaschgang 30 °C

Alu-Schiene vor dem Waschen herausnehmen. Klettverschlüsse schließen,
um Beschädigung anderer Wäschestücke zu vermeiden. Keinen Weichspüler
verwenden. In Form ziehen und an der Luft trocknen.
Gewährleistung
Für das erworbene Produkt gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen des
Landes, in dem Sie das Produkt bezogen haben. Bitte wenden Sie sich
an Ihren Fachhandel, sollten Sie einen Gewährleistungsfall vermuten.
Bitte das Produkt vor Einreichung eines Gewährleistungsfalles reinigen.
Wurden beiliegende Hinweise der Gebrauchsanweisung nicht ausreichend
beachtet, so kann die Gewährleistung beeinträchtigt werden bzw. entfallen.
Ausgeschlossen ist eine Gewährleistung bei nicht indikationsgerechter

Remove the aluminium splint before washing. Close the Velcro fasteners in
order to avoid damaging other items of clothing. Do not use fabric conditioner.
Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.
Guarantee
The legal regulations of the country in which you acquired the product apply
to the purchased product. Please contact your specialist retailer if you suspect
a warranty claim. Please clean the product before submitting a warranty
claim. If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly observed,
the warranty may be impaired or cancelled. The warranty does not cover use

Useful life/Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and tear if
treated appropriately and as recommended.

and the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

lymphatique y compris tuméfaction des tissus mous d'origine inconnue de
l'aide posée, troubles de sensation et de la circulation sanguine des régions
corporelles traitées, maladies cutanées sur les zones traitées, allergie au latex.

Ce dispositif médical est un produit prescrit sur ordonnance. Consultez votre
médecin prescripteur pour en connaître l'utilisation et la durée de port. Le
choix de la taille ainsi qu'une présentation du produit seront réalisés par le
personnel spécialisé qui vous fournira ce dispositif médical.

– ne pas serrer trop lors des phases de repos prolongées p. ex. pendant le
sommeil
