INSTALLATION
• PLEASE NOTE: TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, NEVER OPEN THE SUNSHOWER. THERE ARE NO
USER-REPAIRABLE PARTS INSIDE. ALL REPAIRS SHOULD BE REFERRED TO QUALIFIED PER-
SONS.
• Check whether the voltage (230 V) corresponds to the local mains voltage before connecting
the appliance.
• Before installation and connection, make sure that you remove the appropriate fuse in the fuse
box (or deactivate the main switch).
• The electrical installation may only be carried out by a specialised company, with due obser-
vance of the legal guidelines and the national regulations regarding installation, for example
in the Netherlands, NEN 1010 and international IEC 60364-7-701.
• The Sunshower is an approved quality product and complies with CE guidelines. For the cor-
rect use of this product, the instructions for use in this manual must be observed.
• If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or similarly qualified
and specialised persons in compliance with legal guidelines and national regulations to avoid
hazards.
• Sunshower One Small : has a maximum load of 1050 W. Do not connect other high-power
electrical appliances to the same group as your Sunshower. The appliance must be connected
to a circuit protected by a 16A fuse with an earth leakage circuit breaker.
• Sunshower One Medium: has a maximum load of 2050 W. Do not connect other high-power
electrical appliances to the same group as your Sunshower. The appliance must be connected
to a circuit protected by a 16A fuse with an earth leakage circuit breaker.
• Sunshower One Large: has a maximum power of 3050 W. Do not connect other high-power
electrical appliances to the same group as your Sunshower. The appliance must be connect-
ed to a circuit with an earth leakage circuit breaker protected by a 16A fuse, which can be
switched off at all times.
• Sunshower One: make sure that the shower room is in open connection with the general
ventilation in the bathroom.
• Sunshower One: cannot be used in combination with a steam cabin.

IMPORTANT WHEN USING INFRARED
When using, please note the following:
• Before the infrared session, remove any skin cream, lipstick and other cosmetics.
• Avoid getting too hot. If necessary, move a little further away from the Sunshower.
• Do not stare at the infrared lamp.
• Prevent other people from looking into the Sunshower light while it is in use to avoid eye
damage.
• Do not touch the glass during or shortly after use. The glass plate can get hot.
• Do not use the Sunshower if you are hypersensitive to infrared light, consult your doctor if in
doubt.
INFRARED HEAT
Sunshower uses infrared lamps with a full IR spectrum and an optimum in the short and medium
wave range. The short wave penetrates deeply into the skin (to a depth of 5 mm). This warms the
body effectively and optimally from the inside. The waste substances are removed faster, blood
vessels dilate and muscles become more flexible, thus improving mobility. The medium wave
is completely absorbed into the top layers of your skin, creating the warm feeling. The session
time can be set to a maximum of ten minutes, so the risk of the body possibly overheating is
very small.
GUARANTEED RELIABILITY
At Sunshower, not only the materials used are checked extensively, but also the manu-
facturing processes and the functionality of the products. Regular testing of UV transmis-
sion, watertightness, impact resistance and solidity guarantee consistent high quality. All
Sunshower products are tested in accordance with the applicable standards for UV & IR
output, watertightness and resistance.
