OPERATION
Before using the device for the first time, clean the lid and bowl with a damp, soft
cloth or sponge. Dry the parts carefully afterwards
Remove the stirring rod from the base by turning the nut anticlockwise. Wipe the
stirring rod and base with a damp, soft cloth or sponge. Dry the parts carefully
afterwards. Put the stirring rod back on the base and make sure it is seated
correctly. Tighten the nut clockwise.
1. Place the device near a power socket on a level working surface. Make sure
the cable runs away from the sink and water. If necessary, use an extension
cable.
2. Prepare the ingredients and utensils: popcorn, spices, oil and the measuring
spoon for oil.
3. Measure out 3 tbsp of oil and add to the base.
4. Use the measuring cup to measure out 170 g (6 ounces) of corn kernels. The
measuring cup has a capacity of 56 g (2 ounces), so you have to fill it 3 times.
Add the corn kernels to the base. Do not use more corn kernels!
5. Add 1 tbsp oil for each measuring cup of corn kernels. It is best to use special
popcorn corn and vegetable oil.
6. Always remove the lid from the bowl while the corn kernels are popping so
that the steam can escape through the opening.
7. Make sure the switch is in the OFF position when you plug in the unit.
8. Then press the switch on the base to ON. After a short time, the maize kernels
pop.
9. As soon as you no longer hear any popping, set the switch to OFF and pull the
plug out of the socket.
10. Attach the lid to the bowl.
11. Using oven gloves, turn the tray and base upside down and remove the base.
You now have fresh popcorn in the bowl.
Note: If the appliance starts to smoke during operation, this may be due to
residues on the base. To prevent smoke, clean the base after each use.
