Electromagnetic compatibility

Electromedical devices are subject to spe-
cial electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC)
precautions and should only be installed
and used in accordance with the infor-
mation specified in this document.
Wireless communication devices such as
wireless home network routers, mobile
phones, cordless phones and their bases
and walkie-talkies may interfere with
JAPET.W. Other cables and accessories not
supplied by the manufacturer may affect
EMC performance and cause increased
emissions or decreased electromagnetic
immunity of JAPET.W.
The JAPET.W device must be set up and
put into use in hospitals away from high
frequency MRI imaging source.
The performances of the JAPET.W device
amount an overall traction force of up to 16
kg. In case of electromagnetic perturba-
tions, these performances might not be
reached and the therapeutic effectiveness
of the JAPET.W limited.
The JAPET.W device is compliant with the
IEC60601-1-2: 2014 (Ed.4).
