Device's operation

Follow these steps consecutively to use
the JAPET.W device.
a. Setting up the device
To position the device correctly on the
user, follow the steps.
Positioning of the belt (fig.a)
1. Hold the device on the blue cases then pass
it behind your back, get help if necessary.
2. The arrows indicate the lower part to
position on the hips.
3. Close the lower velcro® so that the de-
vice does not fall out during adjustment,
then close the upper Velcro®
Turning on the device / Turning off the de- vice
(an audio signal confirms the pressing)
Increase decompression force (an audible sig-
nal confirms the pressure)
Decrease decompression force (an audible sig-
nal confirms the pressure)
INDICA- Indicates the current level of decompression (4
levels)
Flashing: indicates an error or an empty bat-
tery.
Tighten the belt (fig.b)
1. Install the device symmetrically on the
hips. Check the alignment of the lines on
the high upper an lower belts.
By pressing the arrows on the outside
should feel symmetrical pressure on the
hips.
2. Check that you can pass a finger be-
tween the top and blue boxes.
3. To tighten the device, press the reel (un-
til you hear a click). Once pushed in, turn it
in a clockwise direction. Perform this ma-
nipulation for the upper and lower reels.
