CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in injury.
■ Before fi rst use, make sure
that the blending shaft has
been correctly put together
and locked in place.
■ Make sure that all parts
are undamaged before fi rst
use.
■ When using the appliance,
only hold the power unit.
■ The appliance must always
be disconnected from the
mains if it is not supervised
and before assembly, disas-
sembly or cleaning.
■ Never operate the applian-
ce without an attachment or
with a damaged attachment.
■ Always make sure that the
attachment has properly cli-
cked into place and that it is
securely attached to the po-
wer unit before connecting
the appliance to the mains
and starting it up.
■ Do not touch the cutting
blades with bare fi ngers.
The blades are very sharp.
■ Keep fi ngers, hair, clothing
and other objects away
from sharp and/or rotating
accessories so they do not
get caught.
■ Do not put hot food or li-
quids above 65 °C in the
appropriate container. The-
re is a risk of scalding. Ad-
vise other users of the risks.

■ Do not use the hand blen-
der to chop things that are
not food. The hand blender
is not suitable for making
soap.
■ Do not use the hand blen-
der to chop hard food, for
example, coffee beans, ice
or chocolate.
