Unpacking the
appliance
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Do not use sharp objects to
unpack the appliance.
1. Take the hand blender and its ac-
cessories out of the packaging.
2. Carefully remove all parts of
the packaging, plastic profiles,
tape and foam padding.
Choose a suitable
location
Do not place the hand blender
– on or next to an oven or other
heat sources, or near to a sink.
– in a spot where it is accessible
for children.
– in such a manner that the mains
cord can become damaged by
sharp edges or by coming into
contact with hot surfaces (e.g.
electrical hobs).

Cleaning before use

The hand blender and its acces-
sories must be cleaned before first
use in order to remove any pack-
aging or production residues (see
"Cleaning and maintenance" on
page EN-21).
