6 - IN THE EVENT OF A PROBLEM
DIAGNOSTIC HELP
If you encounter a problem using this television, here is the
procedure :
- Be sure to follow the user instructions described at the start of this
manual, especially regarding your television's maintenance and
upkeep.
- Refer to the Q&A guide below, which lists the most common
problems.
SOLUTIONS TO THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS
OBSERVED PROBLEMS
The television does not turn on (The indicator light
stays o ).
The television does not turn on. The indicator light is
on.
The television turns on but the screen remains black
and displays « no signal ».
The video appears, but there is no sound.
The television turns itself o .
Certain DVB channels are not detected or show tiles on
the screen.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
- Check that the power of the electrical outlet is on.
- Check the fuses.
- Check the batteries of the remote control.
- Verify that the remote control is not damaged by using the
buttons located on the television panel (control buttons
located on the back or sides).
- The television is set to an inactive source. Press the INPUT
button to change the video mode, or turn on the device
connected to the television.
- The DVB channels are not installed. Refer to the chapter on
channel installation.
- There are headphones plugged into the television, so the speakers are automatically muted.
- If you are using a home cinema, unplug and try again.
- Go to the Settings menu, then Audio. Choose the Audio Output option and check that the
sound output is set to Speaker.
Your television is con gured to automatically switch to standby
after 4 hours of inactivity to save energy. To change this setting,
proceed as follows : go to Settings > System > Timer >
Automatic standby (energy saving). We recommend
leaving this option unchanged in order to reduce the electrical
consumption of this device.
- DVB reception is only possible for covered channels. Check the
proximity of your regional transmitter.
- Verify that the antenna cable is properly connected to your
television.
- Reset the television. Go to Settings > Channel > Automa-
tic search. This action is irreversible, and all data will be
deleted from the television.
- Have your installation checked by a professional.
