- HDMI & CEC : allows you to activate the
simultaneous switching on and standby of video
devices connected to the television via HDMI (only for
CEC-compatible devices with the CEC option
activated).
- Usage Mode is set to Home Mode by default.
Keep this display mode to limit your television's
energy consumption.
• SUPPORT Menu : allows you to update the television's
embedded software, as well as to completely reset the
device in the event of a problem. You will also nd a mode
for diagnosing network problems in this menu, as well as
an online manual. Finally, the Usage Counter option
allows you to know for how many hours this television has
been used since it was rst put into service : to do this, go to
SUPPORT, then Self-diagnosis and Status Check.
MIRRORING YOUR SMARTPHONE SCREEN
With this function, it becomes very convenient to view photos and videos from
your smartphone directly and wirelessly on the big screen!
NOTES :
- The majority of recent Android and iOS smartphones are equipped
with this function. But it is possible that your phone may not have it
or may not be fully compatible with it. In this case, you can always
connect your smartphone to your television with an HDMI cable and
an HDMI/USB-C type adapter.
- Each brand of telephone has a di erent name for this feature. If in
doubt, please refer to the manufacturer's manual. Depending on the
manufacturer, the screen sharing function of your phone might be
called: Miracast, Wi-Fi Direct, Mirroring, or Smart View. The example
below is based on the Smart View feature that comes with most
Samsung brand smartphones.
There are several ways to wirelessly connect your phone or tablet to the
television.
1. For Android phones and tablets : For Android phones and tablets: First
check that your device and the television are connected to the same Wi-Fi
wireless network. With your TV, press the INPUT button on the remote
control and choose the Screen Sharing icon (do not choose the Content
Sharing icon). Then bring up the control icons on your Android device (for
Samsung devices, these are usually located on the noti cation banner at the
top of the screen). Press the Smart View icon (for Samsung devices). For
other Android devices, it may be necessary to go to the settings menu in
order to activate the Screen Sharing function which may be called,
depending on the manufacturer : Miracast, Wi-Fi Direct, Mirroring, Smart
View. After a few seconds, the name of your SMART TV will appear on the
screen. Press it to start screen sharing.
NOTE :
- Screen sharing as described above only works for Android. For the Apple iOS
system, follow the second method described below.

2. For Android and iOS phones and tablets : install the VIDAA
Smart TV application on your phone You can duplicate photos and
videos from your Android or iOS phone on the television, and also
control the television without using the remote control. See the
chapter dedicated to the VIDAA Smart TV application at the
beginning of this manual.
NOTE :
- The screen sharing function can only work if your phone and
television are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
SET UP HOTEL MODE
This television includes a Hotel Mode which allows you to customize
and restrict the television's use.
To access it, do the following :
Press the button
on the remote control to display the television
home page, then click on the icon
Then go to the SOUND menu, then SPEAKERS. Move the cursor to
BALANCE without pressing the OK button (do not enter the BALANCE
sub-menu). With the BALANCE option highlighted, press the 0 5 4 8
buttons on the remote control in succession. Hotel Mode will now
appear on the screen.
With Hotel Mode, you can set the following features :
• Block searching for channels,
• Block access to the settings menu,
• Erasing accounts, settings made by the user, and browsing
history each time the television is restarted,
• Block source changing (DVB, HDMI),
• Lock access to all or part of the Smart TV applications,
• Block the television side control buttons,
• Set a minimum and maximum listening volume,
• Adjust the volume at startup,
• Choice of the default startup mode (DVB mode, HDMI),
• Choice of the DVB channel to display at startup,
• Selection or not of the language of the user at each startup,
• Display the company logo when the television starts (JPEG
format). Select the « Logo » option.
• Display information pages on startup (JPEG). Select the
« Hotel information » option.
• Display a web page on startup. Select the « Hotel web
page » option.
• Import/export settings on other EKLYPS 300 series
televisions : TV channels and Hotel Mode settings. Select
the « Clone » option.
NOTE :
- For usage rights reasons, the Net ix app will be hidden when hotel mode
is enabled. Other applications will be available.
