2 - INSTALLATION
ATTACHING THE FEET
Lay the television horizontally, face down, preferably on a table or similarly
at, stable surface, over which you have rst draped some form of
protective covering (soft fabric), so as not to scratch the screen.
Attach the two feet to where they are designed to be attached to the
television, as shown in the gures below. Use the screws supplied with this
television. So as not to damage the feet, do not over-tighten the screws.
For television reference codes starting with :
- EK24HX / EK32HX / EK32FX / EK39HX / EK40FX / EK43UX : 2 attachment screws per foot.
- EK50UX / EK55UX / EK58UX / EK65UX / EK75UX : 3 attachment screws per foot
Place this television on a stable surface, with the connecting cables safely
tucked away to avoid falls. The power outlet must remain accessible to
ensure that the television can always be easily unplugged.
WARNING :
Explain to children the dangers of climbing on furniture to
reach the television or its controls. To ensure the safe
installation of this television, take the time to read all the
safety instructions at the beginning of this manual.
INSTALLATION ON A TV STAND
- Lift the television and position it onto the TV stand.
- Leave at least 10 cm between the wall and the television to ensure
good ventilation.
- Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.

INSTALLING ON A MOUNTING BRACKET
AVERTISSEMENT :
If you install a mounting bracket on a wall or ceiling, only
attach it to a hard surface (cement, brick).
If installing on a TV stand (stationary or mobile) with a
T-shaped mounting bracket, please follow the same
instructions below.
- The television must be unplugged during installation.
- For each step in the process of handling the television, we
recommend that you only proceed with the help of at least one
other person.
- To keep from scratching the television panel, make sure to place it
on a soft, thick surface when attaching the bars of the mounting
bracket.
- Use appropriate tools and safety equipment throughout the
installation process.
- Make sure the VESA dimensions of the mounting bracket are
compatible with those of the television.
- Make sure that the weight of the television without feet is less
than or equal to the maximum load capacity of the mounting
bracket.
- To screw the bars of the mounting bracket to the back of the
screen, make sure to use an appropriate screwdriver that is
compatible with the depth and diameter of the television's VESA
thread pitch. Otherwise, you may run the risk of damaging internal
components and the panel.
- Refer to the assembly instructions included with the mounting
bracket.
- Should you have any doubts about the safety of your installation,
call on the help of a quali ed technician.
Refer to the reference code of your television, shown on the cover of
this guide, to identify the VESA dimensions and determine which
screwdriver format to use according to the table below.
