DAMAGED MACHINE TOWING

The figure shows the points of intervention and the description shows the proce-
dures to be adopted.

1. Attach bar to emergency hitch A of the
machine and of the towing vehicle.
Important
Before attaching the towing vehicle,
make sure that it has suitable power and
size.
2. To avoid any accidental uncoupling,
make sure that the coupling pins are
properly inserted and secured by means
of the special safety pins.
3. Slightly loosen lock nut B.
4. Completely tighten sleeve C.
– The operation is necessary to extract
pin easily.
5. Slip out pin D.
6. Repeat operations with the brake of oth-
er wheel.
7. Loosen screw E by 1,5 turns.
– The machine is ready for towing.
Important
Towing may be done only for short tracts
and at a speed not exceeding 1 km/h.
After towing, ALWAYS restore the initial
conditions as described.
1. Tighten the screw E.
2. Insert pin D.
3. Completely unscrew sleeve C.
4. Tighten lock nut B.
5. Repeat operations with the brake of oth-
er wheel.
