Set-up and connection

Transport

Take care to prevent incorrect transport
– risk of injury and damage:
• Transport in original packaging
• Always transport the appliance upright
• Always switch off the appliance and dis-
connect it from the mains before trans-
porting or moving
• The appliance is always to be transported
by at least two persons

The condenser of the cooling system
must be positioned at least 55 mm away
from the wall behind or any other object.


Installation location

Ensure that an internet connection can be
set up near the desired installation location
using your mobile device to set up the con-
nection to the desired Wi-Fi, and that you have
wireless internet access. Try visiting any web-
site to test this out. If you can do this without
any issues, this means that you can also use
the Plantcube to establish a connection at
this location. Otherwise, you should select a
location where the connection to your desired
Wi-Fi is better.
The appliance is intended for use indoors in
dry and well-ventilated rooms. The appliance
must not be exposed to direct sunlight and
must not be placed directly next to a heat
source such as a radiator, hob, etc. Ventilation
openings and vents must be kept clear.
Should it not be possible to avoid placing the
appliance directly next to a heat source, a sui-
table insulation panel must be used, otherwise
the following minimum distances to the heat
source must be observed:
• To electric or gas hobs 3 cm
• To oil or coal-fired cooking ranges 30 cm
The floor on which the appliance is set up
must not buckle or become uneven over time.
Reinforce the floor if necessary.
The room temperatures in which the appliance
can be operated are as follows:

The appliance is fully functional within the
stated climate class although crop yields may
vary significantly.

The recommended ambient temperature is
between 19 and 21°C.
The appliance must never be operated out-
side of the stated room temperatures!
Changing the door hinge

Do not change a door hinge by yourself; this
procedure must always be performed by at
least two persons together.

When changing a door hinge, the appliance
must have been disconnected from the mains
and there must be no water left in the appli-
ance.
To change a door hinge, you will need separa-
te door hinges which can be purchased from
Agrilution.
Follow the steps in the app-based set-up
assistant.
Otherwise, follow the steps below:
Loosen the top vertical screw of the door
bracket, while the other person holds the door.
The door can then be slightly inclined and
removed from the lower support. Remove the
bolt from the top hole, putting this to one side
to re-affix later.
Unscrew the bottom door bolt, and keep ready
for affixing to the other side. Then loosen the
screws in the top and bottom hinges.
Loosen the pins from the holes on the side
where the hinges are to be re-affixed, and fit
the supplied hinges in their new positions, by
affixing with the screws in the same way as for
the previous side. Ensure that the holes for the
screws have a little bit of play if they need to
be readjusted, should the door not fit straight
away between the hinges at a later stage.
