3.2.1

Setting the balance to the service mode (PT)

1. Unscrew the cover screw of the service switch on the rear of the balance.
2. Connect the balance to the mains using the power adapter and switch it on.
3. Briefly press the service switch with the small Allen key. The service code input window appears.
4. Enter the service code "5236". "[Service]" appears in the header. The balance is in the service
mode.
Note:
The service mode corresponds to a user profile whose profile name is "Service" and which
is entered by pressing the service switch and entering the password "5236".
Note:
When setting to service mode, the device language is set to English by default.

Setting the balance to the service mode (PB)

1. Unscrew the cover screw of the service switch on the rear of the balance.
2. Connect the balance to the mains using the power adapter and switch it on.
3. Briefly press the service switch with the small Allen key.
Note:
The steps performed so far are sufficient for adjusting the internal reference weight
(CRW). To access the other service mode functions, all the remaining steps in this chapter must
be performed.
4. Press [MODE]. "CODE 0" appears.
5. Press [Enter]. "CODE 0000" appears with the first zero flashing.
6. Enter the service code "5236" with [Up], [Down] and [Right] and confirm with [Enter]. The
balance is in the service mode.
