Operation

Activate device
Press lightly on the button in the shape of the Caratec logo on the top of the gas sensor�
The green LED lights up and the gas sensor starts a self-test�
Deactivate device
Press lightly on the button in the shape of the Caratec logo on the top of the gas sensor�
The LEDs of the gas sensor will turn off�
Optical and acoustic signals
no LED lights up
green and red LED light
up and the buzzer emits a
signal for approx� 1 second
green LED flashes
green LED lights up
green LED lights up and red
LED flashes every second,
buzzer sounds quietly
every second
green LED lights up and red
LED flashes at 0�5 second
intervals, the buzzer
sounds loudly at 0�5 second
intervals
