3. Make sure that the brakes are engaged.
4. Start the dust extractor.
5. BMP 215Petrol: Set the engine ON/OFF switch to
"ON".
6. Start the product:
a) BMP 215: Push the start button.
b) BMP 215Petrol: Pull the starter rope handle.
7. Slowly lower the lift lever. Pull the lift lever up (A)
and then in the direction of the handle (B) to lower
the scarifying drum.

8. Turn the depth adjustment wheel clockwise until the
scarifying depth is correct.
9. Release the foot brake to move the product forward.

Before you do
To operate the product
1. Hold the handle with a light pressure to make sure
that the rear wheels get a maximum hold.
2. Operate the product in parallel tracks and make sure
that the dust hose and the electric cable on BMP 215
do not become twisted.
3. Make sure that the tool of the scarifying drum
touches the ground by centripetal force.
4. Adjust the speed to the surface. Operate with lower
speed on a rough surface.
To stop the product
1. Pull the lift lever up and turn the depth adjustment
wheel until the scarifying drum does not touch the
ground.
2. Stop the product:
a) BMP 215: Push the emergency stop button.
b) BMP 215Petrol: Turn the engine ON/OFF swith
to OFF.
3. Stop the dust extractor.
4. BMP 215: Disconnect the power plug.
5. Make sure that all moving parts are stopped.
