E l e c t r i c a l c o n n e c t i o n
1. Power cable: red to switched +12V / black to ground. Often already prepared on
the vehicle (e.g. for a navigation device, called „ACC2" at KTM), otherwise the pow-
er supply of the light / horn is used for this. Current requirement: 80 mA / 12V.
2. Speed signal: connect black (single) cable to the signal of the crankshaft position sen-
sor. To do this, you need to locate the cable of the sensor. As a rule, this can be found
on the alternator.

3. Engine temperature: Connect plug with sensor. The temperature sensor must
be screwed in/ installed in the area of the desired temperature detection..
4. Gear indicator: Connect the black and white cable to the cable of the gear sensor.
For this purpose, the cable of the gear sensor must be located. The cable may only be
connected to voltages of 0 - 5V.
Attention: Higher voltages destroy the device!

If no gear signal is connected, the gear indicator on the display is automatically hid-
den.
