Intended use
The digital plug-in timer may only be used:
•
for switching electric devices in private and commercial areas, provided this does not infringe on the
intended use of these devices
•
in closed, dry rooms
•
for Schuko sockets (plug type F) with protective earth conductors
The plug-in timer is subject to the following restrictions:

Not for use with protective systems such as escape doors, fire protection equipment,
etc.
WARNING!
The intended use also includes compliance with all information specified in this manual.
Any use other than the intended use is considered an incorrect use. The legal warranty is voided by any
interference with, or modifications to, the device.
Residual risks
The device is state-of-the art and designed in accordance with current safety requirements.
However, residual risks remain that require caution when using the device. The residual risks, and the
conduct and measures they require, are listed in the following.

Improper assembly and installation of the device can lead to life-threatening electrical volt-

Protect the plug-in timer from moisture and heat.

Only a mains outlet (230 V~, 50 Hz) with a protective earth conductor may be used as a
source of voltage.
